This forty-four lesson unit provides opportunities for young people to get in touch with themselves and to reflect on who they are, where they are, and where they are going. Students become involved in processes of meaningful discovery of their own uniqueness and contributions. They discover that life is a journey during which individuals become themselves as they grow in self-knowledge, concern about others, and relationship with God.
The text consists of four parts: Personality—Definition and Development; Faith Development; Influences on Development; and Emotions and Choices. Lessons emphasize timely topics such as social influences and psychological development. This resource is to be used in conjunction with the Student Exercise Book by the same title.
