This resource, which consists of twelve workshop sessions and forty-six reproducible handouts, helps Catholic Christians to develop an awareness of and to participate in the Church’s social mission. Each workshop includes scriptural passages, vocabulary, detailed and flexible procedures, and action steps.
Workshop titles include the following: The Call of the Christian; Communication; Conflict—Analysis and Management; Social Sin—Systems and Strategies; Nonviolence—Principles and Methods; and Inner Strength.
The workshops provide participants with opportunities for prayer, reflection, group discussion, and service. In addition, participants develop problem-solving techniques and gain leadership training.
