This resource consists of twelve extended sessions about reading, understanding, and responding to the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. The materials are designed to be used consecutively by study groups that meet on a regular basis; each session takes about two- and-a-half hours. Procedures help participants gain the skills to read the Bible from an informed perspective, interpret it effectively, and apply it to their day-to-day lives and growth in faith.

Session titles include the following: Overview of the Scriptures; Bible Study Aids and Tools; Textual Criticism; Experiences of God; Salvation History; The Message of the Prophets; The Gospels; Paul and the Acts of the Apostles; The Epistles; and John and Revelation.
