They perform research, compose creative writing pieces and essays, and dramatize and role-play. They analyze the frame story. Students develop categorizing skills.
This revision increases attention to changes in the evolution of the English language and to characterization throughout the Prologue. Moreover, it provides outlets for creative writing. Focus is given to The Pardoner’s Tale and The Nun’s Priest’s Tale in individual lessons.
