Advance Your Career
The Center for Learning’s online Book Groups offer a flexible, affordable, and enjoyable approach to develop classroom pedagogy and accomplish professional goals. Each session provides a convenient way to read seminal books, including novels commonly used in today’s curricula and books positing proven teaching methods.
Master teachers certified in online instruction will guide participants through the course, answer questions, and foster online discussions. Each book group will help you successfully teach a great novel or integrate effective educational approaches into your classroom. Eligible individuals also can earn graduate credit through the University of Akron.
