CFLPD

Courses reflect today's important educational concepts and strategies

Our PD courses last for four weeks, with coursework delivered all online via Moodle, the popular, user- friendly online course management system. Professional facilitators certified in online learning guide lively discussions surrounding assigned reading in the textbook. Participants comment not only on the facilitator’s questions but on other participants’ comments and insights, making for a thoughtful and animated dialogue.

During the course, you’ll be asked to read sections of the course textbook and then share your thoughts about the guided discussion questions presented by the facilitator. Depending on the course, the facilitator may incorporate one or more assignments to complete, and all courses include a final project, which is also submitted online.

All courses follow a formal syllabus, aligned with Common Core standards. View a sample syllabus. Grading is based upon participation and completion of assignments.

Our ever-expanding selection of courses reflects some of today’s most important instructional and educational strategies and methodologies, from top researchers and authors.
