Immigration
Immigration approaches immigration issues from historical and contemporary perspectives. Lessons examine the impact of immigrants in shaping American history and culture as well as the difficulties faced by immigrants and the evolution of immigration law. In addition, lessons explore contemporary topics such as illegal immigration, human trafficking, and reverse brain drain, and how these issues are being addressed. In addition to providing a bibliography of print and online resources, the final lesson serves as a review of the information covered throughout the course of the unit.
