The Miracle Worker by William Gibson

The Miracle Worker tells the story of Helen Keller, who as a child was stricken by a mysterious fever that left her both deaf and blind, and her teacher, who worked to free Helen from a lifetime in a world shut off from communication and learning. The plot focuses on the importance of education, compassion, and appreciation of the challenges faced by blind and/or deaf people.
