Grammar Power-the Essential Elements (Teacher Guide)

The Grammar Power—the Essential Elements Teacher Guide familiarizes middle school/junior high students with the basics of English grammar to prepare them for English and foreign language courses. Detailed treatments of the eight parts of speech include definitions, practice, and review drills. Word usage and punctuation exercises are included throughout the unit. A glossary lists important terms and concepts.

The Teacher Guide covers the material in Grammar Power—the Essential Elements Student Workbook. Every unit has a review, a review test, and a test, as well as answer keys for the exercises featured in the student workbook. Suggestions for group work, drills, and writing are included to spark students’ interest.

The Student Workbook contains all of the exercises referred to in the Teacher Guide. The exercises themselves are not included in the Teacher Guide.
