Description:
Far North is a suspenseful story about a boy who tries to adjust to life in the Northwest Territories of Canada after living in the United States. Instead of falling victim to a harsh environment, he learns to cope after a plane crash and, along with the other victims, struggles to beat the odds and return home safely. The characters are determined to survive and appreciate the skills each person contributes to their survival. The story teaches the importance of friendship, teamwork, acceptance, and sensitivity to people of other racial groups.
