Advanced Placement U.S. Government and Politics is a two-volume college-level set that supplements the adopted course textbook. Book 2 stresses content-based study of current issues through readings and written responses, role-plays, and debates. Book 2 is intended to reinforce the skills developed in Book 1. Lessons are arranged to match the divisions used by the College Board in the course description for U.S. Government and Politics.

Lessons include Bureaucratic Pathology and Interest Groups: The Madison Perspective. Part 6 examines civil rights and civil liberties.
