America's Children

America's Children presents a broad range of topics that touch directly on the lives of children and teenagers. Students learn that there are risks for individuals born in the United States. Children are born into poverty, abused, neglected, placed in foster homes, or put up for adoption. Working parents have difficulty finding childcare. Schools struggle with conflicting demands and with juvenile violence. Children and teenagers continue to be bombarded with advertising in America’s media-rich culture.
