Basic Skills Series
This series is designed to help social studies teachers respond to the need to teach course content while providing meaningful instruction in basic skills.
Designed for use in grades 7-12, the lessons are listed under three categories: introductory, reinforcement, and advanced. Introductory lessons introduce the basic skill. Reinforcement lessons provide practice in applying the basic skill. Advanced lessons require greater understanding of content and employ higher-order thinking skills.
