FAQs

How do I place an order?

We offer several options for you to order educational resources and professional development products. You can:

  • Order online. Click on “CFL Print” on our home page, then select a subject area. When you find a product that interests you, select the “Learn More” link. Next, click on the “Add to Cart” icon. When you are done shopping, click “Checkout” and follow the prompts.
  • Call our Customer Service team toll-free at 800.767.9090 (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday). International customers, please call +1.724.964.8083.
  • Fax your order to 888.767.8080.
  • Mail your order to The Center for Learning, 590 E. Western Reserve Rd., Unit 10-H, Youngstown, OH 44514.

How do I know if my order went through?

Once you’ve placed an order, we’ll send an e-mail confirming that your order was processed. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, please call Customer Service at 800.767.9090 (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday) or e-mail us at customerservice@centerforlearning.org.

What methods of payment do you accept?

All orders shipped to a home address or outside the United States or Canada must be prepaid, including shipping charges. For prepaid orders we accept checks, money orders, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express. Payment must be in U.S. funds.

Orders shipped to schools/institutions may be billed. Accounts are payable in 30 days. Purchase Order numbers are requested. No shipments are made on accounts with past due balances.

How will my package be delivered?

We ship domestic orders going to a school or institution via UPS and orders sent to a home address either by UPS or the United States Postal Service. We send all international orders through the United States Postal Service.

When will my order arrive?

The Center for Learning processes all orders placed through our website within one business day (excluding holidays) of being received. We ship most standard orders within 2 days (excluding holidays). Please allow 7-10 days to receive your standard order. Rush orders that are received by noon EST will ship out the same business day.

Can I track my order?

How can I make changes to my order?

Please call Customer Service at 800.767.9090 (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday), e-mail us at customerservice@centerforlearning.org, or fax us at 1-888-767-8080. If you’ve ordered online, please do not go back to your original order on the Web site and make changes: This may result in duplicate orders.

What should I do if my order is damaged or defective?

Open your package and check merchandise upon delivery. If there’s a problem with the order, we will make it right. Call our Customer Service team at 800.767.9090 (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday) or contact us at customerservice@centerforlearning.org.

Can I return printed resources?

Our 60-day guarantee allows you to order a book and return it in saleable condition for credit or refund of the merchandise. You are responsible for shipping charges.

How can I learn about current promotions?

Customers are encouraged to register their e-mail addresses in order to receive notices about special promotions.

Can I make suggestions for titles, topics, or professional development?

Can I request complimentary or examination copies?

We do not offer complimentary or sample copies of any of our publications. However, you can view the table of contents and a sample lesson of many of our publications on our Web site. We also can mail or fax you a sample pack, which includes the introduction, table of contents, and a sample lesson.
