Each of ten units focuses on a specific famous speech, including Patrick Henry’s "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death," Sojourner Truth’s "Ain’t I a Woman?", Martin Luther King Jr.’s "I Have a Dream," and Barack Obama’s 2008 election night victory speech. The units feature multiple activity suggestions, primary sources showing revisions and edits, links to spoken versions of the speeches, and vocabulary definitions, plus little known facts and other pertinent information. Also included are writing tips and information about different types of speeches.
