Conveying important information about the exam in a light and breezy but thorough manner, several young hosts provide a clear overview of what students can expect when taking the AP exam.
The first part of the program discusses taking the test and writing the essays, covering topics such as format, scoring, pacing, content, and strategies. The second part presents "30 topics in 30 minutes," reviewing key subjects such as the Articles of Confederation, Jacksonian Democracy, Manifest Destiny, slavery and the Civil War, the Progressive era, the Great Depression and the New Deal, and the civil rights movement. An accompanying CD-ROM contains a workbook with teacher’s guides, classroom notes, quizzes, games, and discussion questions.
