CREATIVE SMALL GROUPS

Creative, enjoyable activities concerning anger management, behavior, friendship, grief and loss, self-esteem, and study skills are sorted by grade level (K–1, 2–3, and 4–5) with about a half-dozen activities for each level, and with each group of activities correlated to ASCA standards. There are also cancer-support activities for grades K–5, and "lunch bunch" activities provide for get-to-know-you small-group sessions scheduled in the counselor’s office during student lunch hours.
