Connect with a representative to create a custom curriculum for your district.
This 50-card activity set presents dilemmas that teens may face with drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Situations are diverse—there are no specific "right answers"—and the cards help create a non-threatening environment that promotes discussion and learning. Sample questions: "Following a beer chugging contest at a party, your friend passes out. An hour later he/she is still unconscious. Is this a dangerous problem? What would you do?" and "Do you think patients with cancer should be able to purchase and smoke marijuana to control their pain and/or nausea? Should marijuana be legal in your state for medical purposes?" Includes teacher’s instructions and idea sheet. Grades 6–12. J&B Products. ©2005.
