FEELINGS DETECTIVE
Game

Players practice making their words match their feelings. Especially helpful for children who tend to misread social cues (including children on the autism spectrum), the game asks children to match Feeling Cards (with feelings like "happy" or "disappointed") to Feeling Talk Cards (with statements like "I feel happy when I ride my new bike" or "I was disappointed when I wasn’t invited to the party"). Facilitators can easily vary the game’s skill level. Players: 2–5. Time: 20–45 minutes. Grades 1–6. Franklin Learning Systems. ©2011.
