FRIENDSHIP FARM
Puzzle pieces become question cards teaching social skills with these colorful puzzles that are really three games in one: a game of questions about social skills, a traditional jigsaw puzzle, and a visual analysis of the puzzle’s picture. Starting with all 20 pieces picture side up, the first player selects a piece and looks at the back for a question about social skills. As each question is correctly answered, players cooperatively form the puzzle. Then players search the completed puzzle picture for examples of animals on Friendship Farm who are, and are not, exhibiting good social skills. Players: 1–6. Time: 20–30 minutes. Grades: K–4. Childswork/Childsplay. ©2009.
