TOOLS FOR TEACHING SOCIAL SKILLS IN SCHOOL
COMPLETE SET: 2 activity books with reproducible pages, 2 CD-ROMs
Making almost a science out of improving interpersonal behaviors, these two activity books can help teachers prevent problem behaviors and increase time available for academics. Each lesson in both books states a goal (for instance, learning to listen to others), breaks the goal down into component behaviors, identifies those behaviors in ways that are objectively observable, and arranges the component behaviors in logical order. After an initial teaching focusing on the particular social skill, follow-up lessons can be "blended" into the regular academic curriculum. All reproducible pages are also included on the CD-ROMs. 8½" x 11". Boys Town Press.
