This innovative and entertaining substance abuse education program uses a 3-D quizbowl complete with scoreboards, animation, and sound effects to test students’ knowledge of harmful drugs. Players—or teachers—can select content areas and level of difficulty from a total bank of 225 multiple-choice questions. The computer reads questions and answers aloud while students race the clock to respond. Scoring depends both on getting answers right and on chance factors like bonus points, so all players have a chance to win. Equally well suited for play between individuals or small groups.
