ALWAYS REMEMBER ME

Rachel’s grandmother has two picture albums. One shows photographs from happy times—from after WWII, when she and her daughters had come to America. But the other album includes much sadder times from before, when their life in Germany was destroyed by the Nazis’ rise to power. Rachel is used to looking at the happy pictures, but when her grandmother decides to show her the other pictures for the first time, Rachel learns about the hardships the women in her family endured during the war and how their love for one another gave them the strength to survive.
