COPING WITH DATING VIOLENCE AND ABUSE

Dramatic reenactments heighten involvement as five young adults (four women and one man) share in vivid detail their experiences with dating abuse. Experts identify the five types of dating abuse (physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, and digital and cyber) and their key characteristics. The program also describes warning signs of abuse, emphasizes that it affects both men and women, explains how the abused can find resources to get help, and offers advice on how to help others caught in abusive relationships.
