Citing the statistic that suicide is the third leading cause of death for teenagers in the U.S., this program aims to show that depression, an illness that can lead to suicide, needs to be taken seriously. The video shatters common misconceptions about depression, helping young viewers recognize its outward and internal symptoms and understand the importance of seeking help. Interviews with teens who are living successfully with the disease and commentary by a renowned adolescent psychologist are interwoven with informative graphics that reinforce essential points.
