GIVE AND TAKE

During recess, Mark intercepts and keeps Jason’s ball. The two scuffle and get sent to the principal. Backtracking to the trigger event, the boys see what follows from handling their dispute by fighting, walking away, asking an adult to help, or using a peer mediator. By watching this simply animated story and following the four possible endings, students learn skills vital for getting along with peers. A Fun to Share program recounts Mark and Jason’s conflict, gives related discussion questions, and shows a Give and Take version with the counselor.
