LET’S INVESTIGATE! SOLID GEOMETRY

Empower students to choose how they explore solid (three-dimensional) geometric concepts with this collection of reproducible activities that complement and enhance textbook instruction of mathematical ideas. Catering to all different types of learning styles (written, oral, visual, and tactile), 23 hands-on investigations encourage students to exercise higher order thinking skills such as communicating mathematically using geometric illustrations and vocabulary, comparing volumes and surface areas of different geometric shapes, and plotting (and identifying) mystery figures on a coordinate grid.
