Director James Houston explores American attitudes toward teen sexuality and contrasts them with European attitudes. According to Houston, Americans seem to hope that if no one tells kids about sex, they won’t do it; in Europe, parents and educators communicate frankly about sex, resulting in drastically lower rates of pregnancy and STIs while the age of first sexual activity remains the same as in America.
