LET’S TALK

BJ is sad and confused when his parents tell him they are getting a divorce, but his friend Wise Bird reassures BJ that he’s not to blame—divorce is a grown-up problem. Told with simple animation and voices, BJ’s story helps children understand the realities of divorce and what they can do to make themselves feel better. The video includes two versions of the story—one with and one without counselor narrative. Discussion/review questions appear at the end.
