This DVD includes both the original 1978 documentary (which showed a confrontation between 17 teenagers and a handful of truly dangerous convicts) and the follow-up program Scared Straight! 20 Years Later, which juxtaposes footage from the original documentary with later interviews revealing that most of the teens really were scared straight and went on to lead productive lives.
