Smoking is nasty, smokers smell bad, and nobody wants to kiss them. To that peer-to-peer messaging at the core of this program, add the throat-cancer patient with the hole in his neck (nobody wants to end up like him!), the pair of black lungs with oozing tumors (nobody wants those inside them!), the huge jar containing a year’s lungful of viscid brown tar (nobody wants to put that inside them!), and the doctor with the solid medical information.
