TEENS AND ETHICS
Real People
DVD
A school counselor leads real teens in a discussion about the potentially life-changing decisions they face every day. The topics covered include smoking, drinking, drugs, sex, lying, cheating, and shoplifting. Viewers are asked to think about their own choices and values. The teens onscreen talk about the consequences that follow bad decisions, stressing the need to have a well-thought-out plan when faced with a difficult choice. Through this program, students learn that they can grow from their mistakes and become people who not only know what is right, but who do the right thing. A teacher’s guide (on disc) includes standards correlations, discussion questions, activities, reproducible handouts, a reading list, and a complete program script. Grades 7–12. Color. 23 minutes. Sunburst. ©2007.
