Based on 285 rolls of recovered film, this documentary shows that, when the Nazis broadcasted the world's first television programs, they dedicated the new medium to propaganda.
These programs celebrated Hitler and other Nazi leaders through political pageantry, glorifying German nationalism and patriotic fervor, encouraging racist worldviews, promoting "Strength Through Joy" physical fitness programs, entertaining the troops, and instructing homefront civilians in how to support the war effort. Directed by Michael Kloft.
