Students learn the significance and impact of the Constitution by completing activities on topics such as the Preamble, Articles I–VII, the Bill of Rights and remaining amendments, and the Constitutional Convention and its delegates.
Activities include reproducing the Preamble with a quill pen on simulated parchment, playing a "Go Fish"–style amendments game, interpreting political cartoons, and creating a "government tree" illustrating the three branches. Teacher pages provide objectives, vocabulary, background, and lesson plans.
