THE EVOLUTION OF PLANTS

This basic introduction summarizes how plants that originated in the ocean evolved to colonize the land and adapted to become the many life-forms we see today. Plant structures and processes are introduced as the program explains how different adaptations enable plants to reproduce, obtain nutrients, and ward off predators.
