A.J. loves basketball and is thrilled to learn that Joey, his new pen pal, does too. Even though they have never met, the two become good friends. Their friendship crumbles, however, when A.J. tells Joey that disabled people make him feel uncomfortable, only to find that Joey must use a wheelchair.
