NOVA’s thoughtful examination of the pros and cons of vaccinations reports that diseases that were largely eradicated in the U.S. a generation ago are returning, in part because a growing minority of parents refuses to vaccinate. The program places real cases in historical context to track epidemics, explore the science behind vaccination, and shed light on the risks of opting out.
